The New Pathways -- Moving Beyond The Ice Breaker Speech

Only after you have completed your Ice Breaker speech will you be able to see the next few projects in Level 1. For people like me who like to know what's ahead, it is a failure in the system. Is there a good valid reason why Toastmasters International chose to conceal them?

By delivering your very first speech, you have already completed 5 percent of the core curriculum in the designated path. Isn't it encouraging? Another 95 percent more and you become Proficient!!

But wait... Have you completed the pre-speech and post-speech self assessments (surveys)? To complete each Pathways project, it is important that you have done BOTH to progress further.

The last two projects - Evaluation and Feedback and Researching and Presenting - are great for building a strong foundation. These are solid fundamentals for any good public speaker and they have been very educational to me.

Congratulations! Once you have completed all the projects in Level 1, the final task is to notify the Base Camp Manager using the folder box Level 1 Completion. After verification by VPE who is also the Base Camp Manager, you can then proceed to the next Level.

Don't forget to print your certificate of completion! Another 80 percent to go to be Proficient!!
